Seeking Funding
See 'Current partners and initiatives' for current opportunities to apply for scholarships via the relevant educational institution or to apply for funding for your homework club via the Homework Club Partnership Fund.
To receive funding, organisations must be registered as Deductible Gift Recipients (DGR Item 1). We do not provide funding to individuals or for-profit organisations.
Whether you are a funding body, a corporate entity, a specialist organisation or partnership that has identified gaps in service provision and/or is looking to develop new policies, initiatives or funding models, aligned with Reid Malley Foundation's mission and values, contact us directly to discuss potential collaborations.
Funding for 2025 - 2026
Reid Malley Foundation does not wish to create an unnecessary administrative burden for organisations seeking funding. We are therefore not calling broadly for funding submissions. Instead, we are conducting targeted conversations with organisations who appear to be closely aligned with our vision and strategic priorities and working towards a 'pay-what-it-takes' approach to our philanthropy.
How we collaborate
The Reid Malley Foundation works with organisations by:
- providing funding for initiatives, and
- collaborating in the development, delivery and funding of initiatives.
Reid Malley Foundation subscribes to the
5 Ts of philanthropy, where possible offering our existing partners
Time,
Talent,
Testimony and
Ties, in addition to
Treasure. If you are an organisation currently receiving funding via the Reid Malley Foundation, talk to us about the support we can offer.
Testimonials
I wish to thank Reid Malley Foundation for their continued support of the unique work we do at Pathways Melbourne.
Not only does the Foundation financially invest in Pathways, but Sally Reid has been the most incredible bounce board of wisdom in not only recommending diversified funding paths, but also offering her time and expertise in advising on how to best approach major government grant applications. Thank you, Sally.
Without Sally’s invaluable help in editing and strategically contributing to our grant application to the Victorian Department of Health, we would not have been successful in securing two years of significant funding to help spearhead our expansion to supporting vulnerable religious Jewish teenagers struggling with poor mental health and the risk of homelessness.
No other foundation provides Pathways with such thorough investment — please know words can’t express our appreciation.

The Reid Malley Foundation have been providing financial support to the Homework Club Partnership Fund (HCPF) since 2016, with a current pledge to continue this support until 2026.
The HCPF is managed through a partnership between the Australian Communities Foundation and the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY). RMF’s support of the fund has extended beyond financial contributions and has included pro bono consultancy and support to the team at CMY.
RMF Chief Executive Officer Sally Reid has generously shared her expertise in the education and multicultural sectors, which has supported the strategic planning work of CMY’s Education team. We are so grateful for the support and wisdom that RMF have provided to CMY and the HCPF over so many years.
They have demonstrated a true commitment to improving educational outcomes for students facing disadvantage and their support has made a significant impact on the stability and achievements of the homework club sector and the students it serves.
